Thanks to Alex for being the FIRST to get her entry in to the Make your own Monster Competition. Congratulations Alex, you've already won a prize for enthusiasm!

​To refresh your memory, the rules are SIMPLE:

Simply Draw or Make your own unique monster. Write its name and something it likes to do. Post a photo to Facebook or twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #thescaredbook (if you are a child ask an adult to do this for you) or email to [email protected]. The winner will be the one I like the most!

WIN a signed copy of the book PLUS an author visit from me to the classroom of your choice, within the Sydney Metropolitan area. You don't have to live in Sydney to enter, I'll send the book anywhere in Australia, but the nominated classroom must be in Sydney.

Open to all those who are young and all those who are young at heart.

Entries will close 9th September. Winners will be announced and contacted by the 12th September.
