I wrote a book about caring - caring when the going is tough and the rewards seem few. Caring to visit and take time; caring that the person you are caring for is made up of so much more; caring to connect. Carers don't always get to see the blessings their care actions have on the recipient, and it's some of those blessings that I wanted to throw a light on  in 'When I See Grandma,' to offer hope and encouragement to those who care both personally and professionally, and especially to children.
